‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’ gameplay tips: What are the crafting materials and where to find them
“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and it was finally released this month. While some avid gamers may have already achieved significant progress in the game, some might still need help especially in figuring out the basic elements such as crafting materials.
‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’ crafting materials basic guide
Crafting is one of the most basic elements in many video games, and the same goes for “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.” While the mechanics in crafting materials are commonly fairly simple, the efforts needed in gathering resources required differ since some of the rarer than others.
In the case of “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” the more common materials that players can gather are leather and iron ore. Leather is one of the easiest items to collect in the game as they become available by simply hunting animals. Leather also drops even when killing animals that frequently appear in the game such as sheep and pigs. Buying leather is also possible from the merchant in Fornburg, but players also loot them in various locations.
Iron ore, on the other hand, can be obtained from obsidian stones in “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.” Like leather, the merchant in Fornburg also sells this crafting material and it also appears as loot in various structures across the gameplay map.
One “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” crafting material that would require more effort to find is Titanium, but it is not impossible to gather it. One way to get titanium is by looting it in Brisleah Farm.
Materials such as Tungsten Ingot and Carbon Ingot can be used in upgrading a gear quality. But considering their effects, it would also take a bit more effort in getting them. “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” players can collect tungsten ingot from the Hunter Deliveries while carbon ingot can be looted from various locations such as Templebrough Fort and Kjotve’s Fortress.
Ubisoft celebrates ‘exceptional player activity’ during ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’ launch day
Ubisoft confirmed in a press release last Nov. 12 -- two days after the “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” launch -- that the player activity has doubled compared to that of “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” last year. The video game company noted that they expect this performance to continue considering the sales of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game has also launched on Windows PC, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
